Delegation to Thailand 2019

The Rice Merchants’ Association of Hong Kong organized a delegation to Thailand from 17 to 21 November, 2019. The delegation was led by Chairman Kenneth Chan with 40 members participating. The delegation went to Chiang Rai and visited the rice research center and economic zone to learn about the planting process and harvesting of Thai rice. This trip not only deepened the members understanding of different rice’s characteristics, but also greatly benefited the industry in promoting Thai rice in the future.
