Thai officials and the Thai Exporters Association recently led a delegation on a visit to Hong Kong

Members of our association recently convened with Thailand Director General; Department of Foreign Trade and a delegation from the Thai Exporters Association on June 1st, 2023. The focus of the meeting centered on the evolving landscape of the rice markets in both regions over the past three years, particularly in light of the global pandemic. Productive discussions and valuable insights were exchanged, enriching all participants’ understanding of the market dynamics. To commemorate our fruitful collaboration, the association hosted a delightful banquet in the evening, with esteemed guests including the Thai delegation, the Thai Consul General in Hong Kong, and the Trade Commissioner of Thailand in Hong Kong.  The event brought together around 60 guests for an evening filled with meaningful connections and shared successes, fostering a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere that extended well into the night.
