Cambodian Rice Exporters Explore Hong Kong Market

Members of our association hosted a delegation of Cambodian rice exporters on the afternoon of August 17th, 2023. The gathering, which included over 20 individuals from the Cambodian delegation and more than ten of our Rice Merchants’ Association members, took place at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council SME Service Center. Both parties engaged in by extensive discussions concerning the current state of the international rice market. The Cambodian rice exporters expressed their desire to increase exports of Cambodian fragrant rice to Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong rice importers reciprocated this interest. Following the meeting, we held a dinner for the Cambodian delegation, alongside the Cambodian Consul General and Commercial Director in Hong Kong. The evening was filled with joyful conversations and camaraderie, as both Cambodian and Hong Kong representatives enjoyed each other’s company in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
